From Cellar to Cellar: itineraries along the Veronese side of Garda Lake to discover the Bardolino and Chiaretto wines

dicantina_600The arrival of Spring this year will introduce “Di Cantina in Cantina” (“From Cellar to Cellar”), a Wine & Food event dedicated to Bardolino, Chiaretto and Chiaretto Spumante, the wines produced on the Veronese side of the Garda Lake. The event takes place on Sunday May 3rd, 2015 from 11.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The wineries taking part in this first edition will be fifteen, divided in three tasty itineraries that will give you a good opportunity to discover and get familiar with our amazing territory.
Each winery will offer tastings of Bardolino, a red wine from the hills of Garda Lake, and of Chiaretto, the Italian rose` par excellence. Matching the wines there will be as well typical dishes from local restaurants and specialties from the Cellars. Besides tasting the excellent wines of the territory, visitors will also have the possibility to inquire the producers directly about their job, the vineyard, the cellar, etc.
The tastings ticket costs 25.00 euros and can be purchased in any of the participating wineries in advance or on the day of the event. It is also possible to purchase the tasting ticket online by writing to the e-mail prevendita@dicantinaincantina.eu. Each ticket includes 5 tastings at the cellars of the selected itinerary, plus 1 bonus tasting in any winery of the other routes.
The event is organized by the Strada del Vino Bardolino.
